    DocPoint introduces in 2014 a substantial and diverse selection of the world's gratest documentary films. This year's main theme is nuclear energy. The festival programme includes 132 films in total.



    DocPoint is also proud to add Amir Escandari's debut film Pixadores to the New Finnish Documentary Films series, presenting the best novelties. Escandari's debut film tells a fast story of pixador artists, originating from the São Paulo favelas.

    Film director Kanerva Cederström will receive the DocPoint festival’s Aho & Soldan award for lifetime achievements. Cederström is known for her experimental style, which combines freedom of expression with creative use of materials.

    The 13th annual DocPoint lures onto the big screen a list of top names and great company: the haves and have-nots, there are some great athletes, talented musicians and the 'nobodies' in their shadows, and plenty of ingredients for disaster.
